Rupaul’s Drag Race UK

Season 4 Tour

“Chinese pop star Le Fil delivered one of the most creative performances of the night with a dazzling outfit and a powerful message about stopping Asian hate all tightly packaged together in a well-choreographed number.”

- Manchester Evening News Arena

A live spectacle in three acts - part-pop music, part-performance art and part-fashion installation, created by Le Fil. The performance launches with a celebratory Chinese Dragon dance for Le Fil’s original song ‘East To The West’. This joyful Asian expression is interrupted by warriors attempting to halt Le Fil’s expression. A fight ensues and the Chinese Dragon is wounded.

The second act begins with Le Fil rising from the fight, with a complete costume reveal and transformation as he sings a rendition of Madonna’s ‘Frozen’ with the lyrics amended to included ‘Stop Asian Hate’. As the chorus hits, Le Fil’s red dress turns into a fashion spectacle that takes over the entire stage and connects to each of the dancers. They are drawn in and pulled into Le Fil, forming one shapeshifting entity,

Act three sees Le Fil rising like a phoenix to perform ‘Gravity’, a tightly choreographed performance for a song about overcoming adversity with the lyrics “I rise like I’m born again whole / Shining greater than the sum of it’s parts / It’s pulling you back to me like it was gravity”. It ends with a clear call to action, ‘#MOREASIANLOVE’.
